The Thomas Estate Vineyard spans 5.5 hectares and grows Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Syrah. At the gravity-fed winery, Batch produces elegant still wines alongside sparkling wine made on-site using Charmat tanks—the only winery on Waiheke to do so. Many wines are aged in French oak, and bottling is done in-house, ensuring quality from vine to glass.
The restaurant is a standout, pairing locally inspired dishes with uninterrupted island views. Visitors can also enjoy a relaxed tasting at the cellar door, where the aromas of barrel-aged wines and the surrounding natural beauty create a memorable sensory experience.
